We had an incredible number of votes in last week's Spotlight Sports poll, so let's see if we can keep the momentum going this week as we delve into the Suburban Council boys basketball season. We want to know which of these four teams you think will have the best overall record in the league this season. The candidates are:
Bethlehem -- Last year's South Division champions return several key players including sophomore center John Sica and seniors Myles Bergere and Nate Kane
Guilderland -- The Dutchmen took a hit with the graduation of Cameron Dobbs and an injury to Matt Cerutti that could keep the junior forward sidelined all season, but they have several talented guards including Brian Crupi and Vince Simeone
Shaker -- The defending North Division champions feature a formidable low post player in David Morrison, a talented swing man in guard/forward Chris Landers and super shooter Zach Yakel
Shen -- Though the Plainsmen graduated several players from last year's team, they could still contend for the North Division title behind three-point specialist Dylan Molloy and scrappy guard Ted McCarthy
We'll be taking your votes until midnight Monday, so make your picks today.
